Evidence Based Birth® is a 6-week childbirth class that informs, empowers and inspires expecting parents and birth-care practitioners globally, to understand the latest, proven, evidence based care practices.

Virtual classes and pre-recorded videos will prepare you and your classmates for the labour process and beyond. Some of the topics covered include evidence based care, comfort and advocacy, interventions and birth plans, postpartum care plan, breastfeeding and newborn care, and a comfort measures rehearsal in your final class.

Classes are led by Dr. Paulina Zettel, ND and are billed as naturopathic education. The total cost is $400, split into 6 payments.

COVID Update September 1, 2022

As no new COVID mandates have been put into place, masking continues to be optional when attending in-person appointments at Kura Clinic and you will no longer receive a pre-screening questionnaire.

At this time, our practitioners continued to mask, but welcome conversation about your preferences at your appointment.
Our admin staff may or may not be masked while they work behind the glass barrier at the front desk.

Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer suggests people “should continue to wear a mask if they feel it is right for them, are at high risk for severe illness, recovering from COVID, have symptoms of the virus or are a close contract of someone with COVID”.
